"but I applaud our differences"--ha ha ha!

I love the tipping info. And I need that kind of thing ahead of time so I don't get all outraged. Like, "OMG $20/DAY OF BUILT-IN TIPS!!!!????"---but then I adjust. I think, "Okay, well, if we're ALL doing it. And I DO like fancy towels and chocolates. And really, it's NOT all that much: if we went to a restaurant we'd tip $10 or so, and..." and so forth, and by the time I was done with that I'd be feeling positively GLAD about it, and glad it was included so that I knew how much was expected and didn't have to think about actually DOING it.

I go back and forth on whether I'd like to do a cruise someday. There are so many places I want to go, and I really don't have a big desire to spend a lot of time on a boat, so I lean towards no, but it sounds like you had a lot of fun!

Please tell me you took that breakdancing class.

I've always wanted to do an Alaskan cruise, but I think we're still going to be a no until/unless the environmental issues are dealt with (you're aware of my husband's stance on wrapping paper, you can imagine what this does to him and his need to calculate). But it was very fun hearing about your experience.

Where do you think they learn towel folding? Is it handed down, generation to generation?

Mostly, where do they find the time? That's a lot of towels to fold.
