I have sudden cruise insecurity that we should have booked the early dinner time and also I should have gotten a prescription for Xanax before flying. Shoot. But I am charging my Kindle and there is an airport bar for a reason. We should be gone soon and hopefully will not fall victim to a freak accident in the Jamaican jungle. Please don't rob our house, but if you do, please don't let the cats out.
(A laughs at me, but way more concerning to me than someone taking our stuff is a broken window or door left ajar that would allow our pets to escape.)
With a pen in hand, I am reviewing packing lists written by experienced cruisers. Sunglasses! Make copies of our passports! Power strip or extension cord! I will not remember it all, I'm sure.
Two women from my ZUMBA! class came to step aerobics last week and struggled. They had never been to a step class before and if you don't know ANY of the steps, it would be impossible to catch on in one class especially when English is your second language. I talked to them after class and then at ZUMBA! on Monday night and we ended up meeting early this morning so I could go over the basics before class. Me! ME! It seems like yesterday I was running into people and facing the wrong way and totally confused and asking people for help and now *I* am being asked for help! Then they stood behind me and my friend and watched our feet and did a ton better than last week. I HELPED!
It made me happy and I was so glad to do it and I'm telling you this so if you think it's too hard or you'll look dumb, IT'S OKAY. You know what a clumsy perfectionist I am, so if I can do it, so can you! Eventually! It's okay to ask what size weights we should use or how exactly to do an L step. People like to be helpful and show off their knowledge. It was also fun because of their Spanish accents and how they kept saying "Leeeenda." I don't like my name, but I like the way it sounds when you have a Spanish accent.
Also! E and L's first sparring class was tonight. L declared it "THE BEST KARATE CLASS EVER!"
Slightly off topic, but just say you knew someone who knew someone who didn't like to fly but sort of wanted to fly somewhere, what would be the Xanax dose in a human?

Yay! Sparring! Did you end up getting the cheaper sparring stuff from on-line? How's it working out so far?

It's so exciting that you're leaving soon! I love the sparring photos, I wonder if we have any time at all in our schedule to do that. (I know the answer is no, but I can dream.)

I have the exact same fear that if someone robs us, the cats will get out. I don't care if my stuff is gone, but the cars getting lost would be heartbreaking.
