Lisa C.

I just started the 4th Outlander book! What a coincidence. I read books 1-3 years ago and was totally on team "Please let these people catch a break!" which at the time did not compel me to continue the series. I'm enjoying the 4th book now though.

School starts for us in 3 weeks (we have a full summer off) but thanks to pre-packed school supplies and summer weather that lasts until October, I have little need for "back to school shopping."

Hope the girls enjoy 1st grade! :)

Oh, man! The Outlander series is probably one of my favorites of ALL TIME. I just love it that much. I've actually read them all more than once and the funny thing is that I always cringe when something bad happens and somehow I keep hoping it will turn out differently.
I love so many things about the stories...the characters and how real they seem, the history, the setting(s) and I love the thought of going back in time with modern medical information. I think people WOULD see you as a witch.
As you can see, I could go on and on. I'm always trying to get someone else to read this series! Don't even get me started on how many times I've told me husband I wish he was a scottish highlander (if he was just like Jamie)!! It's made me love all things scottish, even though I've never been there. Afterall, I could listen to that accent all day....like Desmond from Lost :-)
